Part of an estate was told brass hardware and cedar wood however this is not my area of expertise, so please review the pictures and judge for yourself
Wood definitely has the look and smell of cedar
Very high quality and well constructed piece
Three different closures with additional support hardware on the back and on all four corners
Measures approximately 48 inches across and 8 1/2 inches deep when closed
Bottom part not counting top piece measures 6 inches deep top lid part measures 2 1/2 inches deep
Top lid part measures 14 inches vertically and 48 inches horizontally
Could be used for storage of any kind
