This photograph depicts Avenida 16 de Septiembre outside the old Customs House (aka Aduana Fronteriza) in Juarez, Mexico near the border with El Paso, Texas as it was elaborately decorated for the historic meeting between US President William Howard Taft & Mexican President Porfirio Diaz in October 1909.
The Customs House is now the Juarez City History Museum.
Rustic frame in good vintage condition. Double matted. Glass front.
