Vintage 1940s-1950s era Gray PhonAudograph dictation machine phone. When new this device was used for recording audio through the phone and pressing grooves into vinyl discs. This item is specifically just the phone part of the dictation machine.
There is some surface wear from age and use. The cords are both still intact. The plug does have some light surface corrosion. All of the buttons still work fine and are not seized. Overall a cool piece of history for someone who collects early audio equipment or phones, or just wants a cool piece for decoration.
