Hiroshige One Hundred Famous Views of Edo Book W/Folio 17 x 13.5 XXL Taschen 07

On offer is this impressive Taschen publication titled Hiroshige: One Hundred Famous Views of Edo. This 17" x 13.5" x 1.5", 294 page 1st edition book was published in 2007. It features a hard clothbound (silk) folio case which opens to reveal a Japanese string-bound, softcover book. It is large and heavy, weighing over 9.5 lbs. It features beautiful prints of Hiroshige's woodblock works with multi-language explanations of each illustration. The book itself is in excellent condition overall, but there are signs of wear/use to the case; originally there were faux ivory clasp closures, but those were removed. Evidence of this is present in the last photo. There is a small bit of wear to the back of the case. Also, there is a teeny tear at the top of the reverse of the cover page.
