This is a gorgeous tea cup and saucer set; it is iridescent luster ware, with maroon accents and gold roses and pine boughs. The footed cup is 2-1/2" tall, with a wide mouth, 3-3/4" in diameter. The saucer is 5-1/2" in diameter. There is a Sterling China label still on the bottom of the saucer. Made in Japan, probably 1940's. In very good vintage condition; strong colors and clean. The only flaw I see is a slight fading of the gold trim, which is very common with age. Please see photos; offers welcome.
