Roseville Art Pottery Zephyr Lily Art Deco Basket - USA. The Zephyr Lily collection was introduced in 1946 as one of the three colors; blue, green and brown. The 393-7 basket design is reminiscent of the art deco style of the 1920's-30's with raised lilies, pink on one side and yellow on the other, with slender green leaves surrounded by embossed swirls covering the recessed body of the basket. Remembrances of summer.
An estate find in very good vintage condition. Matte finish with minor age-related crazing and few production imperfections on the body with no cracks, repairs or damage; this appears to be a shelf piece as the interior is clean. The Roseville script is raised with style number 393-7 USA with good flower mold lines and color. Measurements approximate - 7.5" H x 61/4" W
