Original New Idea 746N Uni-system Six Row Stripper Plate Uni-Corn Head Operator's Manual TB9
The No. 746N "Fas-Tach" Corn Head is available in 30" row spacings and can be converted to 28" row spacing. It is designed for seed corn harvesting and is to be used with the No. 737 Husking Unit.
STORAGE
1. Clean all husks, silks, etc., from the machine.
2. Clean and oil all chains. Chains should be removed and dipped if possible.
3. Lubricate all pressure fittings listed on
Page 6.
4. House machine in a suitable dry place where it is neither exposed to weather or livestock.
5. Repair or replace any needed parts, not leaving this until next season.
6. Cover all weathering surfaces with a rust preventitive compound.
7. Clean all rust spots thoroughly and paint to stop oxidation.
