VINTAGE ROYAL COPLEY BLACKAMOOR WALL POCKET MID CENTURY CERAMIC

This is a vintage Royal Copley Blackamoor head vase or wall pocket, often referred to as a "Sultan" or "African Prince" figure. Royal Copley, a company known for producing ceramic items, particularly during the mid-20th century. It functions as either a head vase (for holding flowers) or a wall pocket (designed to be hung on a wall). It features a head depicting a figure wearing a turban, consistent with the "Blackamoor" aesthetic popular in decorative arts. These vintage pieces often exhibit signs of age, such as crazing in the glaze, which is a normal characteristic of older pottery. This one is from my collection and is in great condition. Some crazing but no chips or cracks. It is made of ceramic pottery
