Alfredo Barbini Rib Cage Fazzoletto Vase, made in Murano for Oggetti circa 1982. A monumental vase at 13" high.
The beautiful ovoid shape is accented with "ribs" of glass at the neck, which lend it an ethereal, sparkling quality, elevating it to a fabulous work of art. The ribs cannot be felt on the outside, which is a very difficult and beautiful technique.
No chips or cracks, has age-appropriate wear on the base.
