There is wear along the outer edge on the front part of the carpet.
The back is an ivory cotton canvas that is discolored and could use a cleaning.
There is also some markings on back where someone used carpet tape.
There is no odor.

These can be hand washed in cold water which I did not do. I rug beat it and hung it outside to remove smells.
