Whimsical mid-century modern sailboat tv lamp in glazed beige ceramic with gold detail.
TV lamps of the 1950’s were designed to perch in the top of your television console to alleviate eye strain while viewing in dark rooms.
This lamp is in very good but incomplete condition - while the bulb, switch and plug work and are in excellent condition, the model probably originally had chrome sails (see last pic for an example).
Glazing shows some minor crazing toward the base, expected of a ceramic of this age. Some paint loss; no chips or significant damage.
Weighs approx 2 lbs.
