$45 + shipping for lot of antique print blocks! These would have been used in newspapers. The wood on these is so soft and worn. The large block is an advertisement for McElree’s Cardui which was made from thistle and bottled in Chattanooga, TN. It was a tonic used for “lady issues.” It is possible this print block was used on labels for the medicine and not for newspaper printing. The ampersand, N, and G are made entirely of wood. The other two blocks are metal on top of wood.
