This is a vintage brass ormolu beveled glass jewelry or trinket casket box…. gold-toned ormolu filigree design with a floral pattern, beveled glass panels, and a velvet lining…it is in excellent condition for its age… the glass is in perfect condition…no chips or cracks…the box itself is in excellent condition..no dents or damage of any kind… a really gorgeous piece!! These boxes were commonly used to store jewelry, keepsakes, or other small valuables….They are often associated with the Hollywood Regency or antique French style adding a touch of vintage charm to a vanity or dresser…it could use a cleaning but I will leave that to the buyer …please see all pictures for a closer look and more details
