Two matching, medium sized vintage hurricane lamps from the mid-late 20th century. These lamps were purpose built to be electric, but the makers tried to re-create the looks of the late 19th - early 20th century typical electrified oil lamps. Even a faux oil tank cap is present. The lamps are made of brass finish zinc alloy, copper and glass.
Under the main lamp shades, frosted chimneys can be found.
The lamps work with a four position, "three way" rotary switch which allows the top and bottom to be illuminated separately or together.
Condition:
All parts are original and present. One of the top glass shades is repaired. A roughly 3.5" x 2" chunk was reattached with adhesive. The repair is only visible up close. Please refer to last photo.
