19th C Persian Copper Pot Hand-Forged Middle East Tankard 6.5” x 8” Decor TB

This antique 19th-century Persian copper tankard pot is a beautifully hand-crafted piece from the Middle East. It stands approx. 6.5 tall and 8 across the top; including the handle, it measures about 10 wide. The rim features a striking pie-crust edge, made from a separately soldered strip. The pot has been constructed from braided and joined metal, showing tones of copper, gold, and silver. A hook at the top of the handle suggests it may have been hung near a hearth. The handle is attached with two rivets at the top and floats at the base. It weighs 2 lbs 7.7 oz and has no holes or light seepage when held up. The hand-etched gold-toned band shows wear but adds character. A substantial and unique decorative or collectors piece.
