This item is not only extremely rare but is all hand worked. It was likely made locally by German Artisans that had come to Philadelphia & most likely made pre industrial revolution.The mask really is quite unique & has a really beautiful patina. It has NOT been painted or stained at all. It is all original. It's patina is due to it's age as well as due to the fact it's been in the ground for 100+ years.
