This exquisite antique Victorian picture button, dated Dec 8, 1880, features a finely detailed molded scene of an Asian pagoda in a wooded garden. Crafted in deep black glass with a scalloped rim and excellent relief detail, this piece represents the height of 19th-century button artistry. The back features a brass loop shank and is clearly marked with the patent date.
