Galleon pattern decorative ceramic plate hand made by Dogus Cini, in the town of Kutahya, Turkey, which is well known for ceramics.
This collectible piece proudly continues the tradition of Iznik pottery, features intricate patterns and details, strong and well-defined colors, and the thick red color stand out from the surface.
Artist signed on back, shows this is reproduction from the original design of the 16th century, Iznik (Nicaea) - a major center for the production of high quality ceramics at that age.
Its pierced on the back for hanging on wall.
Valuable item for collectors, great for lovers of unique decor or Turkish art pottery.
Measures 9" , weights about 1 Lbs.
In great condition, no chips or cracks. Has some paint dot due to hand painted, may have minor signs of wear due to age.
