Authentic U.S. Military Police baton/nightstick holster manufactured by Merit Leather in 1958. Constructed from thick black leather with reinforced stitching, this Cold War-era holster was designed to carry a standard MP billy club or nightstick. Measures approximately 3″ wide × 7″ tall when folded, and 10-1/2″ × 3″ when opened.
Stamped “US” on the front and “Merit Leather 1958” on the back, this piece reflects pre-Vietnam military issue gear. The original wrap-around retention straps are no longer present, rendering the holster non-functional for active use. Ideal for restoration, display, or historical reference. Shows vintage wear consistent with age and service use.
