Ceramic. Hand painted/ Made in Japan. Japanese made ceramics were popular imports for attractions to use as "Souvenirs" for places In the USA in the 1950s. This one is from 203 s. Douglas st in west Frankfort IL. WHICH IS A HOUSE RN that I looked up. I wonder what was there.
There is a break under the one spot that looks black. And a stress crack on interior. Also pictured. Other than that no chips or cracks. Just needs a bath!
