This hand loomed middle eastern wool
rug was found at the estate sale of a
Vermont artist. She had visited the Middle
East in the 1960s and brought back many
textiles and this was one of them. Loomed
wool table runner or wall hanging or floor
rug that measures 54" long then add 3"
for hand tied fringe tassels. 23" wide
with an off white background with blue,
red, green and gold geometric designs.
We think it's unusual to find a textile with
off white instead of the usual dark reds.
This item has no holes or
issues. Excellent condition and this could
be a Christmas textile with it's colors. Sale
supports Vermont's Puppetree.
