Barry W. Fuchs Vintage Hand Carved Duck Wood Hangings 1976
Both mounted ducks are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or other defects on either duck.
This is a beautiful handcarved set of 3D wood ducks by noted duck carver Barry W. Fuchs (1945-2009). The green winged teal duck and green winged teal drake both have tremendous wood carving and painting detail throughout. Both ducks are mounted on thick oval walnut wood and are ready to hang. The artist, Barry W. Fuchs, signed both ducks on the reverse, where they were carved 'Open Acres', his beloved farm in Millington, MD, and the date of 1976. These are truly works of art! Mr. Fuchs was a well known carver of waterfowl with very special attention to detail.
These would be a great addition to any decor, but would look especially nice in a cabin, cottage, or house cave!
