These tapes were recorded on a 1/4" Mylar tape approximately 3600' (Scotch Branded ?) on 10.5" plastic reels with a trident hub at 3 3/4" ips.
They have been play tested on our machine here and checked for the content that matches the documented cue sheets for that particular performance. They also checked for any flaws, or any noticeable tape discrepancies, all of them played well with no signs of SSS or WPS.
If you are a fan of opera, these tapes can give you many hours of listening to some of the great performers that have appeared during this 50th Anniversary celebration.
We have a series of these tapes that were recorded in successive weeks during these anniversary editions, A few have already been sold.
