Love and Laughter on a Virgin Island DVD OOP

Filmed on Marina Cay in 1958, the embellished film version of the story of Robb and Rodie White who came to the island as newlyweds in 1937 where they set up home. This was a time when the BVI had only 600 inhabitants. They built their house on the summit of Marina Cay where it still stands as strong today as it was then. Robb, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and Rodie lived happily for 3 or 4 years until he was called to active duty at the beginning of WWII. Neither Robb nor Rodie ever returned to Marina Cay. The film is based on Robb White's book "Our Virgin Island", also published as "Two On The Isle" and tells the story of this young couple living out the secret dream of many young couples on an uninhabited island in the sun, on delightful Marina Cay.
