Large Sized Navigation System w/ a 7-inch touchscreens! As good as GARMIN (imo)

This is a Magellan Roadmate 1700. I’ve owned a handful of navigation systems and must admit that although @ a lower price point in comparison to your Garmin & TomTom this 7-inch touchscreen by Magellan is comparable if not better in many ways that matter. The touch screen works well & is the perfect size. Those of us who need glasses will be thankful because not only will you be able to possibly read what’s necessary on days that you may have accidentally left them @ home but for those without them the size doesn’t seem disproportionate. You can search specific addresses & have the gps navigate you turn by turn or choose a category such as bank, gas station or home & have it do the same for you. Although using the navigation system isn’trecommended while driving it can be. The QuickSpell option allows population of suggested relevance as you type out where it is that you’re interested in going to. The condition of the gps is excellent aside from the single pictured minor scratch. Pic#3
