Description:
This vintage Valentine's Day postcard is a beautiful example of early 20th-century design. The front of the card features an elegant woman's portrait emerging from a plush red heart, surrounded by a ribbon and a bouquet of yellow and orange daisies. The background has a shimmering, gold-toned texture. The words "To My VALENTINE" are written in red on the bottom left. The back of the postcard is postmarked February 12, 1910, from Jardine, Kansas, and is addressed to Miss Anna Walmsley in Minneapolis, Kansas, Route 7, C-55. The embossed pattern from the front is visible on the reverse, adding to its vintage charm. A short note is written on the correspondence side, though difficult to read.
