This is a hand-drawn charcoal on paper signed by M.P. Altman and dated 1896. It still has the old wood boards on back. I found it in a little shop on the east coast of Florida and it knocked me out. You almost feel like you are there. Framed under glass in a beautiful oak or chestnut wood frame. The image is approximately 18" x 14" (sight) in a 22 1/2" x 20 1/2" frame. There is a light stain across the center caused by exposure to the sun I suppose. But to my mind it hardly affects the enjoyment of the exotic artwork.
