Double pronged carving fork with weighted base and finger grip, probably stainless steel since it hasn’t discolored over all these years. Helps hold meat and poultry steady while carving. Original box (in bad condition) but that’s how I always stored it to protect the sharp tips of the prongs. Metal is in excellent condition for its age - we’ve had and used this forever - was my mom’s from the 1950s.
