Vintage cross stitched table runner
Measures 40" x 16"
Wool thick needlepoint yarn was used in a large size cross stitch pattern to create this beautiful runner.
The linen look beige background feels to be made of wool as well
The taupe center medallions are outlined in a metallic thread
The edges are bordered in a pink metallic trim
The edges are rolled and hand-sewn leaving an exposed threading on the back
This beautiful runner was purchased about 20 years ago at a German antique market and as such is an older/antique piece.
There are faint age spots on the fabric that are difficult to see but are nevertheless there.
