Beautiful vintage 1956 working Singer 99 portable sewing machine mounted in original travel case. Marked 99- & AM316289. Measures about 15" l x 8" w x 13" t. Solid cast iron & steel. Originally marketed as “portable”'; at 22 pounds it probably isn’t practical. But, being built so solid, it is a workhorse that will last for many years to come. No plastic parts to break, no electronics to fail. Includes original case, owner’s manual, pedal, several presser feet & other accessories in original box, spare belt, spare bobbin threader belt, & one bobbin. It is a rare find to have such a complete set in such great condition.
Pre-owned., tested, works great. Machine appears in excellent condition with only light wear. May need some adjustment/oiling. The case is functional but shows considerable wear, with loose stitching.
