This antique ironstone vase or cachepot features an ornate royal crest flanked by a lion and a unicorn, highlighted by hand-colored detailing and a beautiful floral motif on the reverse. The scalloped rim and gilt pattern add a refined touch, making it an elegant statement piece.
Stamped on the bottom Rong Hua Tang indicates this item is a Chinese export. China produced a significant amount of porcelain and pottery for export, including pieces with British designs and trademarks including this Morley and Ashworth branded piece.
