Really pretty little very lightweight bowl only 5" across. Leave out for display or use it to throw your keys in!! It's in very good condition for being almost 30 years old. I am unsure of the wood type, however it looks like burl to me with the beautiful swirls around of color. The bowl itself is pretty thin. No damage or scratching or anything.
