Cincinnati, Ohio: Bigg's was founded in Cincinnati in 1984.
Denver, Colorado: Bigg's had a store in Denver.
Louisville, Kentucky: Bigg's also had a store in Louisville.
Indiana (near Louisville): Bigg's operated a store in Indiana, across the river from Louisville.
Bigg's was acquired by Supervalu in 1994. In 2010, Supervalu sold or closed its remaining Bigg's stores. Remke Markets acquired six Bigg's stores in the Cincinnati area, while the remaining five were closed.
