This used Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Camera needs repair; red light next to view finder stays on and front lights flash. (shown in pictures).Bummer, because cosmetically, the camera is in excellent condition both externally and internally; no corrosion, all springs and internal parts are clean and in place.
Got this for my son in 2017. He used it for a few months, and it's been sitting in a drawer unused for the last few years. Folks online say to replace the batteries (didn't work); lots of other suggestions to try online, but I haven't attempted any of them. Just hoping to sell to someone who wants to fix it because I don't want it to end up in landfill.
I put a brand new roll of film in there and haven't touched it since realizing the camera isn't working. The black cover sheet is still on the film cartridge. I didn't want to take it out and expose it to light, so the new film will be included.
