The original Gillette President safety razor is known for its high-end plating, rhodium on the handle and nickel on the head. Rhodium is extremely durable, and this President looks as new and luxurious as the day it was made, the 4th quarter of 1953 (Y4), thanks to being stored in is case all of these years. Just look at the reflections inside the silo bay doors!
The case itself displays nicely, but is well worn as you can see...no longer snapping open and shut as new. Still, this President displays nicely in its case and will surely be a gem in any collection!
