A stunning vintage 1970's amber glass genie bottle decanter has a panel/ribbed design with a matching flame panel/ribbed stopper. The inside of the stopper is hollow and open. Made by one of the many glass manufacturers based in the region of Empoli, Italy. Still bears the original label which reads "Tuscany Handcrafted Genuine Empoli Glass, Italy". It is in very good, beautiful collectible condition, considering its age. The stopper has a chip at its point and a minor small rough patch about mid way down. A tiny bit of dirt is in the bottom of the decanter that my bottle brush could not reach but should come out with a soak. Straw marks and air bubbles are a marker for all handblown glass. The stopper sits evenly on the bottle but loosely in the opening. Could use a bung on the stopper stem. A fabulous statement piece!
