This vintage glass and metal oiler is a classic rustic gas station/garage decor.
The glass is made and marked Ball Perfect Mason and is free of chips or cracks
The metal spout is a 1920s Mobiloil Gargoyle type A oil spout. This metal spout is embossed with "Mobiloil Arctic" and "PROPERTY OF VACUUM OIL CO.", indicating its origin with the Vacuum Oil Company, which later became part of Mobil Oil. The "Arctic" designation suggests it was designed for use in cold temperatures.
The spout has mild surface rusting and patina with an area rusted through near the base-see photos for more detail on style and condition.
It measures 13 1/2" X 4 1/2".
