Unique vintage novelty item! This little green nylon scarf is studded with pasteboard rhinestones, and features a small rhinestone loop or "bracelet" in the middle of the scarf to be able to wear the scarf on your wrist. Tag still attached to the rhinestone loop says Bolero Wrist Kerchief.
I found a 1937 ad in a newspaper for these scarves. The ad says that these scarves were inspired by Ida Lupinos performance in "The Gay Desperado" movie.
I do not believe this scarf was ever used. The rhinestones are cloudy from age and it smells a little musty from storage, but it has no rips or stains.
