Vintage Zuni Sunface pendant measures 2” with bail L and 3/4” W.
Marked sterling signed by MB and is of Navajo tribal affiliation. In general, Native American artists began using the STERLING stamp in the 1950s and 1960s The inlay stones are turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and jet. Zuni is a Native American tribe that is located in New Mexico. The Zuni silversmiths are known for the intricate inlay work, and very fine lapidary skills.
