This is a beautiful vintage wooden cigar box from Cuesta-Rey, a renowned cigar manufacturer. The box is stamped with "CUESTA-REY Hand Made" and "1884," and also "REPUBLICA DOMINICANA," indicating its origin.
The lid features a gold-toned latch and hinges. The inside of the box is clean and shows the natural wood grain, with the Cuesta-Rey logo and crest prominently displayed.
The bottom of the box states it originally held "25 CIGARS." This is a perfect collectible for cigar aficionados, a unique storage box for keepsakes, or a great piece for an upcycling or crafting project.
Good vintage condition. Shows some signs of wear consistent with age, including some scratches and scuffs (see photos). The latch and hinges are in good working order.
