Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl Stretch Bracelet Genuine Milk & Honey l Scarce Natural Gem

These beads are made of Cat's Eye chrysoberyl, a rare form of chrysoberyl that has the effect of chatoyancy. This is caused by inclusions in the gemstone called rutile that redirect light into a band in the middle. These beads also have the 'Milk & Honey' effect which is something that not all chatoyant gemstones have. Depending on the location of the source of light, the stone (in this case, beads) is split down the middle with one side being bright and the other one being dark. You can see this effect very clearly in the pictures. The stones are also just one color depending on the lighting conditions. Really, the stones are constantly changing and moving as you move. They're always switching from being split in half in dark and bright hue, having a band down the middle, or just being one shade.
