From my father's toolbox, this is a Vintage 1967 "Pop" Rivetool by USM. This was the original version of this tool. Comes in the original clear vinyl package with the original paper insert. Tool is in excellent condition and still works. Dipped handles are still soft, pliable, and comfortable to use. Metal portions are in excellent vintage condition. Packaging shows some yellowing of the vinyl, but it is still soft and flexible. Paper insert dated 67-2 is still in good condition, as well.
My father had not used this for a while, so I do not have any pop rivets to go with it. These tools are still made, so the 1/8" pop rivets to fit this vintage tool are still available at a quite reasonable price.
A nice tool for the workshop or the collector!
