THIS IS A VINTAGE WOODEN "SERE" OBLONG SERVING PLATTER THAT HAS A GOLD/WHITE/ TURQUOISE ROUND CERAMIC MOTIF IN THE CENTER. THE SERVING PLATTER MEASURES 18.5 INCHES LONG AND 6.5 INCHES WIDE AT WIDEST POINT. THE WOODEN SIDES ARE RECESSED TO ALLOW FOR PLACEMENT OF SNACKS. THIS ITEM WAS MADE IN JAPAN AND IS BELIEVED TO BE CIRCA 60'S. THE BACK OF THIS ITEM HAS A SMALL PRE-DRILLED HOLE WITH AN "EYE" THAT WAS SCREWED INSIDE. THE PURPOSE OF THIS EYE IS UNCERTAIN.
