Royal Copenhagen Denmark ALUMINIA Girl Candle Holder.
Adorable Faience Ware Aluminia figural Christmas angel with halo candle holder manufactured by Royal Copenhagen in Denmark circa 1940s.
She is hand-painted in a maroon, yellow, and green design on a creamy white background.
Believed to be from the Child Welfare series by artist Herluf Jensenious, but she is not marked with the "JUS" name.
She does have the beehive mark with three wavy lines. Previous owner wrote "My Mom's" on the bottom.
This mark was used from 1903- 1969.
This 2-light taper candleholder/candlestick stands 5-1/2" tall and measures 3-3/4" wide at its widest.
It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.
A highly collectible piece of Danish Royal Copenhagen that you are sure to want to add to your Scandinavian Christmas holiday decorations this year.
