This book appears to be rare due to the fact that I cannot find anything like it online. After thorough research, I discovered the publisher H. M. Caldwell published books between 1896-1913. Further research shows the cover for this style of book was of the Chateau Series published in 1901-1902 with these years books measuring 6" x 4.24".
Another oddity is that in the 4th photo, the author's name is missing. Similar books by this publisher use the same layout as shown on pic 4, with the author's name listed below the title and the small red mark.
The book is in good condition for being this old. I found no torn or missing pages.
