First edition, fifth printing hardcover copy of The Bachman Books by Stephen King writing as Richard Bachman (New American Library, 1985). Very rare early first trade edition (NOT a book club edition) of these four early works of horror / suspense / thriller novels written by King under a pseudonym. Contains the novels: Rage / The Long Walk / Roadwork / The Running Man. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is faintly split in a few gutters though spine is straight and binding remains quite firm on the whole. Tanning pages that are otherwise clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
