Released in 2017, Iris Fauve is the creation of Marie Salamagne for Atelier Cologne. The unisex fragrance opens with top notes of floral iris, crisp bergamot and enticing cinnamon. The heart consists of nagarmotha or cypriol oil, patchouli and Haitian vetiver.

Iris is the messenger to the Greek gods, the personification of the rainbow and the bearer of good tidings, while fauve is a name for a wildcat; this fragrance captures those disparate elements in a soft, celestial veil of scent. Top notes of iris, bergamot, and cinnamon create a bright and intriguing invitation. Middle notes of nagarmotha, vetiver and patchouli soften and deepen the scent, supported by base notes of musk, myrrh, labdanum and liatris.
A relatively new fragrance house, Atelier des Ors launched its first collection in 2015.
